The line on this site is answered 24 hours a day, every day of the year, holidays included. Damage does not keep business hours and neither does the phone.
Free to you, start to finish
This service is free to the homeowner. You are never invoiced by this site — the only money that changes hands is between you and the contractor you hire.
Insured, credentialled and nearby
You reach an independent local contractor covering Suffolk, insured and carrying whatever this trade and this state require of the firm doing the work. Checking that before work begins is the homeowner’s job, and a good contractor makes it easy.
One call fixes a bad match
You are not stuck with the first name you are given. Call back, say it was not a fit, and ask for another. That is what the line is for.
The honest limit of all of this
None of the above is a warranty on anyone’s workmanship. The contractors are independent businesses, not employees of this site, and the work you agree with one of them is a contract between you and that contractor — its quality, its price, its schedule and its guarantee are theirs to give and yours to hold them to.
